The legal process for house selling/purchase

The following is intended to give a guide as to how the legal process flows during the sale/purchase of your home.

Once you have made/or accepted an offer the legal work starts in earnest. The timescale from acceptance of the offer to "key handover" is approximately eight weeks although this may vary depending on the complexity of individual chains.
